The McKean Township Trustees met in regular session Monday, February 10, 2020 with Trustees Wintermute, McInturff, Schwartzenberger, and Fiscal Officer Ellas answering roll call. After the group was led in the pledge to the flag, the trustees addressed the audience. AUDIENCE-Chris Meyers was present to discuss any updates on the Meek property. It was explained by the trustees that the surveyor still had not flagged or marked out the property and was not certified by the county. Mr. Meyers agreed to contact his surveyor and the property will be discussed at another meeting. ZONING REPORT-Stan gave copies of his monthly report. A meeting will soon be set for the zoning commission to meet and discuss several changes to the zoning code. REPORTS-The trustees reviewed the balances, bank rec, and purchase orders. Motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee Schwartzenberger, all agreed to approve. ROAD SUPERVISOR-Terry reported tomorrow we would be having the 4th funeral this year. The grave bucket is in need of replacing. Trustees McInturff stated she would check the company and make the purchase for the township. Tree trimming on our roads was then discussed. Terry had traveled the roads in need of tree trimming with a certified tree service. They recommended for the price it would cost to complete the job that the township invest in their own bucket truck. Trustee Schwartzenberger and Terry agreed to check prices. We then looked at the cemetery fence. Agreed at the last meeting we will start delivering the fence to One Stop Coating Shop on Monday. NEW BUSINESS-Motion to pay all bills made by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed. The Fiscal Officer then asked for the trustees signatures for a cemetery deed for the purchase of two graves at the Fredonia Cemetery. The township received the money last week for the graves. The trustees then discussed our roads, many breaking up from all of the rain. More stone will be ordered. Motion to adjourn the meeting made by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, all agreed.
