  1. Call to order, Roll Call, and Pledge of Allegiance

Trustee Wintermute called to order the regular meeting of the McKean Township at 7:00pm on Monday, May 12th.

The following members were present:

  1. Trustee Jeff Wintermute, Trustee McInturff, Road Superintendent Bradd Bruce, Fiscal Officer Lindsey Hoskinson, Zoning Inspector Larry Hansel, Cemetery Assistant Bev Hansel.

The following members were absent:

Trustee Dannette McInturff

Guests Attendance and Discussion –

Valarie Raymond, 3048 Sportsman Club Road, Johnstown

She provided additional input and notes on a potential zoning violation in the township.  She did reach out to the Health Department in absence of response from us.  Val provided a timeline of events and detailed notes for the Trustees.  Trustee Wintermute stated that he would share these with Trustee McInturff as she is the Trustee who has been working on this issue.

Approval of April’s minutes, moved by Trustee Wintermute.  Minutes need reviewed by Trustee McInturff for final approval when she is available.

  1. Township Roads Report – Bradd

Shared work completed on roads thus far for the month.  There will be more work needed because of the rain.  Trustee Wintermute asked him to spread asphalt grindings and also gave instruction about what to do at a residents drive on Riley Road and on Lafayette Road.

Trustee Wintermute ordered a new sign for the Old Colony Cemetery and will have Bradd install it when ready.  Bev Hansel shared that Dave Ellas has been researching and she has a list of names there mapped out.

Shared issues on CAT loader parts that need fixed.  Bradd spoke with a local company about fixing and will take care of it when they have an opening.

  1. Zoning Report – Larry

Shared Zoning Activity up to May 12, 2025 to include permit requests and other questions from the month.

  1. Cemetery Report – Bev Hansel
  • Fiscal Officer Report – Lindsey

Trustees and Fiscal Officer reviewed and approved prior months Receipts, Payments, and Fund Activity.

Checks were signed and Electronic Payments/Payroll deposits were approved.

  1. Trustees Report

Discussion regarding vacating alleys in Highwater.  Trustee Schwartzenberger will continue to take ownership of this project.

 No additional reports.
