The regular meeting of the McKean Township Trustees was held April 20, 2026. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by President Dannette McInturff with Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll call was taken, Trustee Wintermute, Trustee McLaughlin, Road Supervisors Chris Lantz and Travis Taylor and Zoning Inspector Larry Hansel. There were no guests present.

Trustee Wintermute made a motion to pay the bills, second by Trustee McLaughlin. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved and signed.

Road Supervisor Lantz gave his report on all the storm damage. There were trees down before the storm and a lot more after the storm. Repairs on the truck and backhoe as well as small items.

Zoning Inspector Hansel gave an update on items going on in the township.

It was decided to put a single layer of chip and seal on the roads just to protect the roads that were done in the past by Smalls. The roads being done are:

-Riley Road

-Lafayette Road North from Dutch Lane to 9238 Lafayette Rd (Herman B)

-Lafayette Road South from 5417 Lafayette Road (Lahmon Farm) north to Cat Run Road

For a total cost of this project is $46,000

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm.
