August 6, 2026 Special Meeting

This is a Special Meeting to discuss the Chip and Seal of Riley Road and Lafayette
Road, per the Proposal provided by Small’s Asphalt Paving, Inc., dated July 29, 2026.
Meeting started at 5:08pm with Roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Attendance:
Trustee Dannette McInturff, Trustee Jeff Wintermute, Roads Superintendent Chris
Lantz, Fiscal Officer Lindsey Hoskinson
Absent:
Trustee Jared McLaughlin
Guests:
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Kling
Sean Clipner

Trustee Wintermute and McInturff explained to the Guests what the repairs to the roads
will be and how this will work.
We need to protect our investment on the roads we have already made. Mr. Clipner
asked if we would be paving the road. We discussed our budget and that we have to
apply for Grant Funds, which we can get awarded every 4 or 5 years. We have also
requested for Philipps Road funding grants and still need information from the County
Engineer which we still do not have as well.
The Proposal was reviewed and based upon the Budget Funds available, and the total
cost of $52,185.65 for these 3 projects, Trustee McInturff recommended we appropriate
funds from the Gasoline Tax Fund #2021 to pay for this project.
Maximum amount approved via Resolution 2026-5 is $57,000, to come from the
Gasoline Tax fund. Resolution signed and passed.

I. Motion to Adjourn General Meeting at 5:30pm.
a. Moved by Trustee McInturff
b. Seconded by Trustee Wintermute
