The McKean Township Trustees met December 14, 2020 for their year-end meeting with Trustees Wintermute, McInturff, and Clerk Ellas in attendance, Trustee Schwartzenberger via electronic attendance, all answering roll call. After the pledge to the flag by the group, the trustees asked for the zoning report. Zoning-Stan had given out his monthly report of calls and permits. After his report, motion by trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute to go into executive session to discuss personnel issues. The Trustees then joined the meeting and proceeded with business. Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute confirmed by Schwartzenberger asking Zoning Inspector Stan Robinson for his resignation effective December 31, 2020. After discussion, the zoning inspector did tender his resignation effective December 31. The Trustees thanked him for his work done with all of the filing and permits. The trustees also agreed by motion to give gift cards to the zoning boards for the year. Reports-Motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed to accept the reports as given. Road Supervisor-Terry discussed the trees on Mt. Herman. Trustee Wintermute had checked prices and $4-$5000 will take care of the problem and the township will proceed. Trustee Schwartzenberger will order caps for the posts at the cemetery. We have received many good commits since the fence was put back up and decorated for Christmas. Thank you to Timbuk Farms for all of the bows along the fence New Business-Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, all agreed to pay todays bills. Our zoning boards were then discussed. Terms of office for the Appeal Board has Mark Marston going off. Motion by Trustee McInturff, Seconded Trustee Wintermute for Mark Marston to be on for another 5 years. Dwight Zarhndt term of office for the Zoning Board has expired. At this time Dwight Zarhndt will not commit for another term. Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, for Lindsey Hoskinson to replace him on the Zoning Board for 5 years. Pay for 2021 was then discussed for the trustees. Motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff for the Trustees to be paid by salary. Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute to set the 2021 meetings for the second Monday of each month at 7:00. After discussion as to conditions of some of the roads motion to adjourn by Trustee McInturff, all agreed.
