McKean Township Trustees met in regular session as posted in the paper and on building Wednesday February 10, 2021. Both zoning boards held their organizational meetings at the building just prior to the trustee meeting. Trustee McInturff, Wintermute, and Fiscal Officer Ellas answered rollcall with Trustee Schwartzenberger answering virtually. After the pledge to the flag, it was noted no audience was present. Zoning-The newly appointed zoning inspector was present, Larry Hansel. He was reminded there would be an appeal board hearing at the building on the 18th as advertised in the paper. Larry reported that he had not written any permits to date. Reports-The trustees then looked over their given reports and bills to be paid. Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, all agreed to accept the reports and pay all of the bills Road Supervisor-Tires for the truck were discussed. 2 were needed at this time and recommended to get additional 2, which the trustees agreed. All fence for the cemetery now has been rebuilt. We will have to wait on the weather before putting up. Signs for the cemeteries were then discussed. The mailbox on Dry Creek was replaced Terry stated we currently were out of salt and would be getting more from Granville. More snow is expected this week. New Business-The county road mileage report was passed to trustees for approval. Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, all agreed to 25.895 of public road in McKean, which all signed. After some discussion as to road conditions with the snow, motion to adjourn, all agreed.
