  1. Call to order, Roll Call, and Pledge of Allegiance

Trustee McInturff called to order the regular meeting of the McKean Township at 7:00pm on Monday, January 12th.

The following members were present:

  1. Trustee Jeff Wintermute, Trustee McInturff, Trustee Schwartzenberger, Fiscal Officer Lindsey Hoskinson, Zoning Inspector Larry Hansel, Road Superintendent Bradd Bruce, Cemetery Assistant Bev Hansel

 Organizational Meeting and Budget meeting held. Separate Notes provided.

 General Business

December Minutes were Reviewed and Approved as Submitted.  Trustee McInturff moved to approve minutes and Trustee Wintermute seconded the motion.

The Bank Reconciliation was provided and reviewed by the Trustees.  All Trustees signed and approved the reconciliation.

Bills and Checks were reviewed and signed for Approval.  Trustee McInturff approved and Trustee McLaughlin seconded.

  1. Township Roads Report – Bradd

A resident on Philipps Road sent an email regarding the poor state of this road.  Trustee McInturff drove the road the day we received the email.  Bradd shared that he has been unable to do work on the roads because equipment has been down.  Trustee Wintermute stated that any time equipment is not working he needs to know that day.

Bradd stated that the batteries have now been replaced in the equipment and he can move forward with road repair.  The Trustees gave additional guidance.

In the future, Bradd will send me photos by road name of road work completed.  We will start documenting what we are doing on the roads in this fashion.  Trustee McInturff volunteered to create what she is thinking of for us to use.

Trustee Wintermute will have a written plan about what we need to accomplish on the Roads for 2026 which we can use in our Budget discussion.

  1. Zoning Report – Larry

Larry provided his Zoning report. He did have a computer issue and we suggested he start backing up his information to an external hard drive or jump drive.

  1. Cemetery Report – Bev Hansel

Nothing to report.

  • Trustees Report –

Jared McLaughlin is attending the OTA Conference.

Trustee McInturff shared notes from the Licking County Township Meeting.

  • Funds available from the Parks to use for our greenspace
  • There is a funding application form to complete.
  • The guidelines and information will be retained in the General Communication folder.
  1. Fiscal Officer Report – Lindsey

Lindsey shared other communications and items mailed in.  These will be retained in the General Communications binder in her office.

Bonds were signed for Larry, Jared, and Jeff.

2 Cemetery Deeds were completed and signed.

A written performance review for Bradd will be conducted by the Trustees at or before the March meeting.
