Roads: Review of the Licking County Engineer’s Estimate dated 6/12/2023 (requested by Trustees in March) for improvements to Riley Road and Lafayette Rd. Riley Road .90 miles (4,745′) from Burlington Twp line to Reynolds Rd Engineers Estimate: $749,516.29 (copy herein attached) Lafayette Road (center) 1.15 miles (6,050) from Sportman Club to Lundy’s lane: Engineers Estimate: $805,671.54 (copy herein attached) The Engineer’s Estimates far exceed township budget and would require grant assistance thru OPWC. Further discussion about the possibility of OPWC funding determined both roads would significantly fall short in meeting sufficient scoring criteria to be funded. Mainly due to low residential home count and average daily traffic count as well as other criteria (no major corridor connections) for which both roads would not meet scoring minimums. Trustee Wintermute will be pricing materials for chip seal to protect existing improved roads and possible application of chip seal for Riley Rd between Burlington line and Reynolds Rd. He will present those costs at the June meeting. Roads in discussion for chip seal (as budget allows) are as follows: ftprox .20 mile: Cat Run — The Y-intersection at Dry Creek over the bridge Approx .20 mile: Hankinson Rd Y-intersection at Dry Creek Approx .30 mile: Lafayette from Byrd to Lois Lahmon property Approx 2.1 mile: S Chatham Road Approx 1.4 mile: Timbuk Road from 661 to Cat Run to Lafayette Approx .90 mile: Riley Road Burlington line to Reynolds Rd (requires 2 coats) prox 2.5 mile: Dry Creek Rd from Burg to 661 North Chatham from Chestnut Hills to bottom at Mt.
