  1. Township Roads Report – Bradd

Shared work completed on roads thus far for the month.

  • Graded Riley Road last week with grindings we received from the State
  • Widened Wince Road by 4 feet as well as hill going up Riley from Wince
  • Extended out culvert on Wince for a Resident
  • Cleaned out ditches on East side of Riley Road
  • Chris Lantz has worked for 2 weeks while Bill mowed. Most of the mowing is done and will continue later in the year.

Shared things that need fixed.

  • 4-foot culvert on Wince Road at the top of the hill is rotted and needs replaced. The Trustees believe that due to the size this is a County responsibility.  Trustee Wintermute said he’d take a look at it this week and give additional input.
  • Trustee Wintermute shared that Dry Creek culvert needs cleaned again.

Bradd will be on 2 weeks’ vacation starting July 6th.  Will return to work July 21st.  Chris Lantz will be working those 2 weeks while Bradd is away.  Trustees approved this vacation request with the exception of Trustee Schwartzenberger who did not agree to having Chris back Bradd up while he is away and instead wanted the Trustees to do this.

  1. Trustees Report

New sign was shown for Old Colony Cemetery.  Bradd will work with Bill to hang it up.

The County Engineers office shared an issue with Cat Run Road vs Timbuk Road signs which needs corrected.

Trustee McInturff shared that in order to finance Road work you must do a TAN or a Tax Anticipated Note.  You can only do that if you have a levy already passed.  We passed our levy in 2014 and Dannette had saved that information from 2016 – the actual Levy certificate of certified levy funds.

  • Dinsmore Scholl is Park National’s Attorney who they run everything through to be sure they are compliant legally with financing townships.

Approval was given by Trustees for installation of Security Cameras by Shawn Shumaker, of Advanced Business Communications Inc.  Trustee Schwartzenberger asked for an additional camera to be added to the back of the building.  Trustee McInturff to bring a final bid back so we can move forward with installation as soon as possible.

Accounting Procedures were reviewed again for any potential changes.  Trustee Schwartzenberger had several questions which we addressed at a previous meeting and then again at this meeting.  Final procedures Approved this day June 9, 2025.
