The McKean Township Trustees met for the regular meeting May 13, 2019 with Trustees Wintermute, McInturff, Schwartzenberger, and Fiscal Officer Ellas answering roll call. After the pledge to the flag, the chairman opened the floor to the audience. AUDIENCE-Stanley Robinson was present applying for the zoning inspector position. He has worked with zoning for Johnstown, Alexandria, and Etna over the years. After discussion as to the zoning needs in McKean Township, motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee Schwartzenberger, all trustees agreed to hire Stanley Robinson as zoning inspector for McKean starting May 14 for $300 per month. ZONING REPORTS– Tom reported 2 permits had been written for the month. He also stated that May 31 would be his last day for McKean Township since the trustees were able to find a replacement. The Trustees thanked Tom for his time with our township. REPORTS-Motion made by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed to accept the fund balances, purchase orders, blanket certificates and purchase orders, and the bank reconciliation as presented. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT-The trustees discussed correcting the water issues in the township parking area. They hope it to be finished in the next month. NEW BUSINESS-After reviewing all of the bills and asking to change two of them, motion to accept by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed. It was agreed by all to get replacement prices for new gutters for the leaky ones on the township building. After discussion as to road conditions and the need to order more stone, motion to adjourn the meeting by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed.
