The McKean Township Trustees met in regular session November 11, 2019 with Trustees Wintermute, McInturff, Schwartzenberger, and Fiscal Officer Ellas answering roll call. After the pledge to the flag, and with this being Veterans Day, Trustees Wintermute and Schwartzenberger were given cards thanking them for their service. Audience- John Hower from Rinehart-Walters-Danner Ins brought our new quote for insurance for 2020. After review, motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed to exclude the malicious act section and one trailer needed to be removed. John agreed to the changes and will send a new bill for the policy. Zoning Report-Stan presented reports for the Oct permits. 2 permits were issued and many issues and calls about zoning were made during the month of Oct. It was then discussed and agreed by the trustees that they would request both the zoning commission and appeal board to have their 2020 organizational meeting January 13, 2020 at 6:30pm. The fiscal officer will send out notification notices to the members. Reports-The trustees then reviewed their October reports. Motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed to accept all reports. Road Supervisor-It was reported that the new truck did not have the boards on the bed yet and the lettering on the doors was not done. Terry has them on his schedule for next week. He also questioned new signs for the cemeteries. All Trustees agreed to the new signs being ordered. Trustee Wintermute stated we were on a waiting list with Energy Cooperative for when they sell any used bucket trucks. Old Business- The trustees then discussed the cemetery fence that was removed from the cemetery on North St. We all agreed after checking the one section over that had been refurbished by Trustee Schwartzenberger and attached to wooden post that this was the look we needed and not any new costly fencing. Motion by Trustee Wintermute, seconded Trustee McInturff, all agreed. New Business- Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Schwartzenberger, all agreed to pay the bills and accept the minutes. Motion by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, all agreed to pay the same bonus to the road workers and zoning boards as last year. After agreeing we had road salt and equipment ready for the winter weather, motion to adjourn by Trustee McInturff, seconded Trustee Wintermute, all agreed.
