  • Township Roads Report – Bradd

Lafayette ditching and grindings completed.  Dry Creek Road vastly improved.  Ditching and grindings are done on the Riley Road portion up to Shipley’s.  Asphalt grindings have been placed between 657 and Reynolds Road on Riley Road.  Costs for all of this are reflected in today’s bills being paid.

The Stone box/spreader that we co-own with Madison Township has been having maintenance issues.  It has been at Southeastern Equipment getting fixed since May.  Chip and Seal may not get done this year depending on weather and the time it is taking to get the equipment fixed.

Bradd to provide a follow-up on labor cost in the quote for air conditioning for the truck that isn’t working.

Chris has been helping as-needed and will stay on as part-time.

  1. Zoning Report – Larry

Larry provided his report for the month of August.  He discussed his report and there were no questions or concerns by Trustees.

Dannette shared the zoning question regarding Still Springs on Marion Road.  The current owners are operating it as a wedding venue.  The current owners are selling it and the new owners wish to continue to venue.  It is not currently zoned for this and this needs to be addressed.  Larry will reach out to Pete Griggs for further information.

The Trustees met in Executive Session for Personnel issues.

  1. Cemetery Report – Bev Hansel

Bev placed an ad in The Advocate for 3 days to provide notice for open graves.  She will also be researching via genealogy.  If no results are found, then we may provide notice to sell.

  • Fiscal Officer Report – Lindsey

Trustees and Fiscal Officer reviewed and approved prior months Receipts, Payments, and Fund Activity.  Also reviewed and approved paying all electronic bills and all checks presented.  Motion made by Trustee McInturff and seconded by Trustee Wintermute.

The Resolution was provided to Trustees for the Licking County Auditors Financial report.  Reviewed, passed, and signed by all 3 Trustees.

  1. Trustees Report

The current Zoning Resolution process was discussed and the Trustees feel an update is needed.  Trustee Schwartzenberger will reach out to Jim Bidigare, Chair of Zoning Commission, to start the discussion.

Resolution to close Alley’s in Fredonia was signed and a hearing will be held on September 26 at 11am at the County Commissioners Office.

No additional reports.
